XTerra - Photo Links : Goto http://www.randyhi.com/XTerra/ and search by Last Name and click on the link(s) to open your photo(s) regardless of album. Note: the link is to the 1st photo of that sequence so scroll forward to find additional photos.
How did I do? Out of 516 names on the entry list, I got at least one photo of 460 entrants and I missed 56 -- 35 of those I missed finished 400th or higher.
If you found your photo but are reluctant to order because you feel your image is too small be informed that my cameras create 20+ Mpxl files so cropping is usually possible. If you feel the image is too dark keep in mind I shoot RAW so faces in even very dark shade can be lightened significantly. However, if you feel the image is too fuzzy for a large blowup, you may be right -- check with me by email before ordering an expensive enlargement or digital download.

XTerra - Photo Links

XTerra-1 Swim : To find your photos open the name index ( http://www.randyhi.com/XTerra/) and scroll down to your name and click on the photo link(s). The image that opens will be your FIRST image in that sequence but in many cases the next frames will include a few more shots. (Note: album XTerra-5 Bike (Back 3/3) has not been indexed yet -- if you finished near the end of the bike, bookmark this page so you can return in a few days and easily find your bike photos -- thanks!)

The 2010 version of the XTerra World Championships was held in Makena on Sunday, October 24. I photographed some of the "swim-run" meaning the athletes are required to come onto the beach and run about 100 yards in the deep sand between the two swim laps. The "swim-run" is very crowded and the swimmers sped past in large groups so it wasn't always possible to get individual shots -- I'm sure I missed at least 1/2 if not 2/3rds. When the 2nd swim lap was about 1/2 finished, I moved up to the bike course and stayed there for the rest of the event -- shooting many of the participants on the way out (Album 2) and perhaps 75% to 80% on the way back (Albums 3, 4 & 5).

As always, you may download wallpaper/screensaver images (768*1024) FREE -- just leave my copyright and logo clearly visible. Also, you may purchase 3 - 4*6 photos for $10 plus about $5 S&H to most USPS addresses.

(Note: Only albums XTerra-1 Swim, XTerra-2 Bike (Out) and XTerra-3 Bike (Back 1/3) have been indexed so far. ASAP indexes for the remaining bike albums (4 & 5) will be completed -- bookmark this page so you can return in a few days and easily find your bike photos -- thanks!)
